Kumasi Technical University witnessed a momentous occasion as the outgoing 2022/2023 Student Representative Council (SRC) Executive officially handed over leadership responsibilities to the incoming 2023/2024 team. This event marked a significant chapter in the history of the institution, filled with gratitude for the past and hope for the future.

Under the leadership of Mr. Isaac Mensah, the outgoing executives have made substantial contributions to the university community. Their dedication to serving the student body was evident through the establishment of valuable infrastructures that directly benefit students, the organization of memorable events, and their unwavering advocacy for student needs. As they passed on the torch of leadership, the university expressed its heartfelt appreciation for their relentless dedication and hard work.

Now, a new generation of leaders stands ready to guide Kumasi Technical University to greater heights. The incoming SRC executives bring with them fresh and innovative ideas, boundless enthusiasm, and a resolute commitment to enhancing the university experience for all. In a poignant address, the outgoing SRC President, Mr. Isaac Mensah, took a moment to reflect on the achievements of his administration, acknowledging the challenges they faced. He extended his gratitude to the executives he collaborated with and offered his best wishes to the incoming team in their future endeavours.

Addressing the gathered crowd, the newly sworn-in President of the SRC, Mr. Evans Osei Kankam, expressed profound gratitude to the student body for their trust and confidence in his leadership. He pledged not only to meet but also to exceed the expectations placed upon his administration. Mr. Kankam recognized the divine guidance that had led him to this pivotal leadership role and promised to set even higher standards, building on the commendable legacy of his predecessors.

The ceremony also witnessed the swearing-in of the new Speaker of Parliament for KsTU, adding another dimension to the leadership transition.

The presence of esteemed dignitaries at the event, including the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Gabriel Dwomoh, the Registrar, Mr. Ebenezer Kofi Boakye, the Dean of Students Affairs, Dr. Thomas Adoma Worae, and other important figures, added prestige to this memorable occasion.
