Interior Design Technology programme has been developed to provide students with the solid design and scientific foundation needed to start work toward becoming a professional interior designer and prepares students for entry-level positions in residential and commercial interior design as well as other equivalent positions related to interior design.

The Construction Industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the Ghanaian economy. This is not by accident, but due to the fact that Ghana is a developing country and has a fast-growing human population. Ghana has a reasonable supply of craftsmen with traditional knowledge, skills and experience in building construction processes. Similarly, there is a considerable amount of quality middle level and top management construction personnel playing vital roles in the construction industry, albeit below the market demand.
Entry requirements:
Students to be admitted to the Programme should satisfy the following admission requirements:
A. SSSCE/GBCE Candidates
Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective
subjects from the following: Physics, Elective Mathematics, Chemistry, Building Construction, Wood/Metal work, Technical Drawing/Engineering
Science, Economics and Geography.
a. SSSCE APPLICANTS
i. Six passes (A-D) in all subjects, including English Language and Mathematics; and
ii. At least three (3) of the passes must be relevant to the area of specialization
b. WASSCE APPLICANTS
i. Six passes (A1-D7) in all subjects, including English Language and Mathematics; and
ii. Must possess a minimum of C6 in any three (3) of the passes must be relevant to the area of specialization
