KUMASI TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY BIDS FAREWELL TO ING. PROF. OSEI-WUSU ACHAW

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) marked a significant moment in its history as it organised a farewell event to honour the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw, who recently completed his distinguished four-year tenure at the institution. The event, held at the university campus, was colourful and very impressive extolling Prof. Achaw's exceptional contributions to KsTU's growth and his unwavering commitment to academic excellence.

In his heartfelt address to the KsTU community, Prof. Achaw recounted his initial mission upon joining the university – to raise the profile of KsTU as one of the nation's premier technical institutions dedicated to the pursuit of academic excellence. Reflecting on his time as Vice Chancellor, he emphasised the formidable challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, underscoring the demanding task of managing the university amidst such unprecedented circumstances.

Prof. Achaw expressed deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by His Management team, the Deans and Directors, dedicated faculty, hardworking staff, and ambitious students in collectively elevating the academic standards of the institution. Their unwavering dedication and commitment to the university's mission played a vital role in realizing KsTU's objectives under his leadership.

As Kumasi Technical University bids farewell to Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achaw, we do so with deep gratitude and profound respect for his transformative leadership, vision, and dedication to our institution's mission of academic excellence. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide us as we embark on a promising journey toward further accomplishments and contributions in the field of technical education.
